We ask that you review these Terms and Conditions of Use, which constitute a binding license agreement that conditions your use of the Site ("Agreement"). If you do not wish to be bound by this Agreement after you have read it, please leave the Site. By accessing and viewing the Site, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
Except for public domain material, the content on the Site is protected by intellectual property laws, including U.S. and international copyright laws. You are hereby granted a non-exclusive license to use the material at the Site ("Content") while connected to the Site. You are also granted a limited license to print one copy of any Content posted at the Site, but only for your personal use. Except as expressly provided above, all rights are reserved. Among other things, except to the extent required for the limited purpose of reviewing material on the Site, electronic reproduction, adaptation, distribution, performance or display is prohibited. Changes to or deletion of author attribution or copyright notices are prohibited. Commercial use of any of the Content is strictly prohibited. Use of material provided in the Site, out of context, and used in a manner that does not convey the original intent and/or meaning is strictly prohibited. Use of any of our symbols, marks or trademarks as metatags on other websites also is strictly prohibited. You may not display the Site in frames (or any of the Content via in-line links) without our express written permission, which may be requested by contacting us. You may, however, establish ordinary links to the Site without our written permission.
The Site may provide links to other websites owned or operated by third parties as a convenience to our visitors. You may also have been directed to the Site, by third party websites or links. We have no control over linked sites and make no representations about any content or material available at those locations. We are not responsible for the content of those sites. Links are not intended to imply sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement. Such linked sites may have privacy policies that differ from the privacy policy associated with the Site.
The information contained in the Site, including that of all contributors to it, is not purported to and does not represent the opinions nor speak on behalf of any other person, entity, agency, or organization including government, public, private, or foreign unless specifically indicated. All opinions expressed in the Site are the opinions of The Sound of Silence Project (organization), TSOSP.com, agents of the Site, other persons by permission and/or credited, or persons/organizations related to that information included in third party or subsequent links.
You expressly agree that use of the Site is at your sole risk. There is no warranty that your access to, or use of, the Site will be uninterrupted or error free; or that any particular results may be obtained by use of the Site. All information on the Site is subject to change without notice. We cannot ensure that any files or other data you download from the Site will be free of errors, viruses, contamination, or destructive features. The Site is made available on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of title or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or otherwise, other than those which are implied by and incapable of exclusion, restriction, or modification under the laws applicable to this agreement. We shall not be liable for any damage, injury, loss, or expense, including without limitation direct or indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, losses or expenses, even if we are advised of the possibility of such damages, losses, or expenses, arising in connection with the Site and your use hereof whether caused by (1) any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration or use of records, or (2) errors, inaccuracies, omissions, opinion, statements taken out of context, other defects in, untimeliness, or unauthenticity of information or content provided by, contained within, or obtained through the Site, or (3) any other failure, action, or omission, and regardless of whether arising under breach of contract, tortious behavior, negligence, or under any other theory or cause of action. Your sole remedy against us for dissatisfaction with the Site or any content is to stop using the Site or any such content. This limitation of relief is a part of the bargain between the parties. Some states do not allow the disclaimer of warranties or the exclusion of liability for consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in all cases.
The terms of this Agreement will not be modified on an individual basis. You agree that we may modify the terms of this Agreement (or discontinue the Site) in our sole discretion, without advance notice, and that your right to access the Site is conditioned on an ongoing basis with your compliance with the then-current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use. You should therefore visit this page frequently.

Each time you visit the Site, our web server may automatically recognize (where possible) and collect this information.
As other websites do, we may collect and store basic information about how you browse the Site, such as what pages you visit, links you click on, browser type, and language preference. Cookies: We may use cookies to help us track how you move through the Site. This helps us understand what information is most important to our visitors. Most browsers allow you to delete your cookies if you choose.
Web Beacons: If you have signed up to receive email from us, we may also use tags or beacons to confirm if you have received and opened our message(s).
We collect personally identifiable information only if you voluntarily choose to provide it to us. Personally identifiable information is information that tells us who you are, including your name, address, and email address. Personally identifiable information does not include aggregate information that, by itself, does not allow for the identification of an individual person. For example, we may collect personally identifiable information when you fill out a form on the Site or when you sign up to receive a newsletter. For example, wherever we may use a “Contact Us” form, or similar form, the information you provide to us on the Site will be collected and stored when you ask a question through our Contact Us form or similar form.
We may use personally identifiable information for the purposes for which it was collected. For example, to the extent that we collect personally identifiable information when the contact form or similar form is completed, we will use the information to respond to your request, among other things. In addition, we may use personally identifiable information to send you publications, invitations, and other materials that may be of interest to you.
The information that the Site management stores is for our own use only, in order to communicate with you and to provide you with better service and more information. We may also use this data to improve the Site. The Site does not share, sell, rent, or trade your personally identifiable information without prior consent or as compelled by law. The Site does not share, sell, rent, or trade your personally identifiable information to any third party for promotional purposes. However, we may share this information with third-parties who provide services for us.

You grant The Sound of Silence Project a perpetual, nonexclusive, world-wide, royalty free, sub-licensable license to the Submissions, which includes without limitation the right for The Sound of Silence Project or any third party it designates, to use, copy, transmit, excerpt, publish, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, create derivative works of, host, index, cache, tag, encode, modify and adapt (including without limitation the right to adapt to streaming, downloading, broadcast, mobile, digital, thumbnail, scanning or other technologies) in any form or media now known or hereinafter developed, any Submission posted by you on or to the Services or any other Web site owned or operated by The Sound of Silence Project, including any Submission posted on or to the Services through a third party.
You are solely responsible for the content of your Submissions. However, while The Sound of Silence Project does not review every Submission and is not responsible for the content of these messages, The Sound of Silence Project reserves the right to delete, move, or edit Submissions that it, in its sole discretion, deems abusive, defamatory, obscene, in violation of copyright or trademark laws, or otherwise unacceptable.
We do not currently receive or provide a method to submit personally identifiable information to the Site.
